Design, Development, and Certification

What We Do for Our Customers

Design to OEM specification requirements

  • Work closely with development teams
  • Review of design concepts, performance criteria, weight and cost
  • Tooling design, composite placement and lay-up processes plus material selection for seatback, seat pan, bolster and secondary components
  • Product and tooling design for mechanical products: headrest, footrest, armrest and other mechanical products
  • Full design and analysis engineering services

Certification

  • Work closely with certification and engineering teams
  • Design, test and build certification hardware to support testing and certification
  • Review failure analysis and develop preliminary structural hardware

Production

  • Work closely with management, manufacturing and product personnel to ensure smooth transition to full-rate production
  • Provide value-added “upper assembly” content including composite seatbacks, composite seat pans, headrests, footrests, armrests and video brackets
