Headquartered in Miami, Florida, the Electronic Technologies
Group (ETG) is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and sale
of electrically and electro-optical engineered products used in the aerospace,
defense, space, and electronics industries. Additionally, the ETG
also repairs and overhauls navigation systems and other avionics, instruments
and components for commercial, military and business aircraft operators.
The ETG currently employs over 500 highly skilled team members,
including over 100 engineers, who draw on years of experience to develop
and improve a wide variety of products, such as:
Electro-Optical Infrared Simulation and Test Equipment
- As an example, the MIRAGE IR Scene Simulator, used to project infrared
scenes to assist with training of complex targeting and imaging systems.
Electro-Optical Laser Products - Primarily
used in the laser industry, these products include amplifiers, photodetectors,
flash lamp drivers and hybrid laser rangefinder receivers.
Aircraft Power Supplies and Batteries
- On-board aircraft products, such as battery and charger units to support
emergency lighting, emergency fuel shut-off devices and emergency exit
door power assists.
Circuit Board Shielding - ETG has a line
of patented products used for shielding circuit boards and other items
from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.
By constantly focusing on customers' needs, the ETG has been able
to position itself as a leader in technological innovation throughout
the years. Accordingly, the ETG has developed products such as:
- Satellite microwave devices which reduce weight, cost and
increase output
- Infrared equipment which allows lab targeting system
simulation to substitute costly launch testing
- Interconnection devices which provide for hermetic sealing
In 1999, ETG's superior engineering skills were
again made evident when ETG engineers developed PowerUpT, an emergency back-up power supply for Cockpit Voice Recorders ("Black
Boxes") that was less expensive and more effective than the ones being
developed at the time.
ETG's commitment to quality, technological expertise, and
production efficiency results in superior products, which are tested,
approved and adopted to perform critical functions in the military and
aerospace industries.
